Secrets and Clues
The gateway opening up into a Red Portal exists hidden in the depths of the Ziggurat of Thoth-Hermes.
The Lord of Unending Thirst was worshipped by Khandirians who sought the lord's connection to blood and hunger as a source of magical power to fight the Dragon Empire. Symbol: purple worm with tentacle tongues of skulls.
The Khandirians bound a devil of Mot named Katel into the puzzle box hoping to use it and other devils as weapons against the dragons but never got the chance.
Mot – God of Eternal Death, Lord of the Undead, the Death of Fire, Emperor of the Silent Land of Mirey, Prince of Necromancers, and High Potentate of Dragonslayers (Southlands 260).
Ibbalan the Illustrious is heavily engaged in the current holding of Kyprion and Rumela, taken from the Seven Cities.
Parsis is the Morza establishing the illicit artifact train to Nuria Natal. Parsis is the most tricky of the Morza.
The Puzzle Box of Katel can open a Red Portal to the ruins of Nurduran or Siyaz.
Ruins of Nurduran: A Nurian human city that resisted the arrival of the dragons in the first rush of Mharoti expansion. Charred stones and a few pillars are all that remains.
Ruins of Siyaz: A great experiment by a kobold alchemist named Mektree the Mad went horribly wrong in Siyaz, releasing vampiric mists and flesh-rotting vapors that turned the town from a thriving metropolis to a tomb almost overnight. Scattered bands of gnolls use its empty buildings, but the dragon urmanli consider it a place best left fallow.

The Putrid Tome: The Putrid Tome reeks of rotting flesh. Its curdled green pages rot flesh and putrefy the eyes. A creature able to withstand its fetid words gains power over decay and disease.
